Heat Transfers- Pre-printed graphics-usually multi-colored-are applied by heat transfer printing. This dry decorating method uses controlled heat, dwell and pressure to thermally bond the graphic onto the surface, achieving high quality and durability. Modern heat transfers offer excellent resistance to wear, scuff, chemicals, and ultraviolet radiation. The heat transfer is applied by a flat silicone rubber die or heated roller mounted on the heat transfer press. The machines precision indexer coordinates movement of the heat transfer web and heated die or roller for accurate registration of the graphic. Precise tolerances are readily attainable to meet exacting customer specifications. |
